15Description
16-----------
17
18The BMC Teutates is the Eleventh generation of Superior System
19monitoring and thermal management solution. It is builds on the basic
20functionality of the BMC Theseus and contains several new features and
21enhancements. It can monitor up to 4 voltages, 16 temperatures and
228 fans. It also contains an integrated watchdog which is currently
23implemented in this driver.
24
25The ``pwmX_auto_channels_temp`` attributes show which temperature sensor
26is currently driving which fan channel. This value might dynamically change
27during runtime depending on the temperature sensor selected by
28the fan control circuit.
29
30The 4 voltages require a board-specific multiplier, since the BMC can
31only measure voltages up to 3.3V and thus relies on voltage dividers.
32Consult your motherboard manual for details.
33
34To clear a temperature or fan alarm, execute the following command with the
35correct path to the alarm file::
36
37	echo 0 >XXXX_alarm
