Merge tag 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/virt/kvm/kvm

Pull kvm updates from Paolo Bonzini:
"On top of a lot of Arm fixes, this includes a massive rename of types
and variables in tools/testing/selftests/kvm - these were
unnecessarily different from what the kernel uses, so they're being
made consistent.

arm64:

- Allow tracing for non-pKVM, which was accidentally disabled when
the series was merged

- Rationalise the way the pKVM hypercall ranges are defined by using
the same mechanism as already used for the vcpu_sysreg enum

- Enforce that SMCCC function numbers relayed by the pKVM proxy are
actually compliant with the specification

- Fix a couple of feature to idreg mappings which resulted in the
wrong sanitisation being applied

- Fix the GICD_IIDR revision number field that could never been
written correctly by userspace

- Make kvm_vcpu_initialized() correctly use its parameter instead of
relying on the surrounding context

- Enforce correct ordering in __pkvm_init_vcpu(), plugging a
potential pin leak at the same time

- Move __pkvm_init_finalise() to a less dangerous spot, avoiding
future problems

- Restore functional userspace irqchip support after a four year
breakage (last functional kernel was 5.18...)

- Spelling fixes

Selftests:

- Rename types across all KVM selftests to more closely align with
types used in the kernel:

vm_vaddr_t -> gva_t
vm_paddr_t -> gpa_t

uint64_t -> u64
uint32_t -> u32
uint16_t -> u16
uint8_t -> u8

int64_t -> s64
int32_t -> s32
int16_t -> s16
int8_t -> s8

- Fix Loongarch compilation"

Merge tag 'kvm-x86-selftests_kernel_types-7.1' of https://github.com/kvm-x86/linux into HEAD

KVM selftests type renames for 7.1

Renames types across all KVM selftests to more closely align with types used
in the kernel:

vm_vaddr_t -> gva_t
vm_paddr_t -> gpa_t

uint64_t -> u64
uint32_t -> u32
uint16_t -> u16
uint8_t -> u8

int64_t -> s64
int32_t -> s32
int16_t -> s16
int8_t -> s8

Using the kernel's preferred types eliminates a source of friction for many
contributors, as the majority of KVM selftests contributions come from kernel
developers. The kernel names are also shorter, which allows for more concise
code, and in any many cases eliminates newlines thanks to shorter types and
parameter names.

Rename variables and parameters as well as types, e.g. gpa instead of paddr,
to again align with the kernel, and in a few cases to remove ambiguity, e.g.
where paddr is used to refer to a _host_ physical address.

KVM: selftests: Drop "vaddr_" from APIs that allocate memory for a given VM

Now that KVM selftests use gva_t instead of vm_vaddr_t, drop "vaddr_" from
the core memory allocation APIs as the information is extraneous and does
more harm than good. E.g. the APIs don't _just_ allocate virtual memory,
they allocate backing physical memory and install mappings in the guest
page tables. And as proven by kmalloc() and malloc(), developers generally
expect that allocations come with a working virtual address.

Opportunistically clean up the function comment for vm_alloc(), and drop
the misleading and superfluous comments for its wrappers.

No functional change intended.

Merge tag 'tags/spi-octal-dtr' into nand/next

spi: Octal DTR support

This series adds support for 8D-8D-8D in SPI NAND, which can already be
leveraged without any SPI changes as controllers already have this
support for some SPI NOR devices.

Among the few spi-mem patches, they are needed for building the SPI NAND
changes (especially the ODTR introduction at the end) and therefore an
immutable tag will be needed for merging in the MTD tree (unless all the
series goes through MTD directly ofc).

Merge series from André Draszik <andre.draszik@linaro.org>:

With these attached patches it becomes possible again to support
hardware designs with multiple PMICs where individual rails of each act
as required supplies for rails of the other (due to the latter being
e.g. always-on), and vice-versa.

Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro (oriole and raven) are examples of such
designs.

Rather than returning -EPORBE_DEFER in regulator_register() when
set_machine_constraints() fails with -EPROBE_DEFER (due to missing
required supplies), we still allow rail registration and try to
reresolve supplies each time a new rail gets registered.

This is implemented using a bus (regulator bus), which allows the core
to reresolve supplies for regulators that still need them whenever new
regulators (i.e. devices) are added.

Using a bus also solves existing problems around late resolution of
supplies as mentioned in the commit message introducing that bus.

The series starts with a few bug fixes and the last two commits
implement the changes mentioned above, but do depend on the bug fixes.

Support effective VF bandwidth query in LAG mode

Currently, mlx5 driver exposes only the parent function's speed to VFs,
providing no way to query the actual effective bandwidth in LAG and
MPESW configurations. This limitation prevents userspace and
upper-layer software from obtaining accurate bandwidth information,
which impacts traffic scheduling decisions.

This series addresses this by:

1. Adding mlx5 internal logic to calculate and propagate the effective
aggregated LAG speed to all attached vports. The vport speeds are
dynamically updated when LAG member link states change.

2. Extending RDMA core with a new ib_query_port_speed() verb and an
IB_EVENT_DEVICE_SPEED_CHANGE async event. These interfaces expose
the effective port speed to userspace, supporting speeds that are
not expressible as IB speed * width (where width is 2^n).

This series enables userspace applications to query the effective
port speed and receive notifications on speed changes in real-time.
In LAG configurations, each mlx5 port reports the aggregated bandwidth
of all active LAG members.
