Merge tag 'v7.2-rc1' into drm-rust-next

Merge v7.2-rc1 into drm-rust-next to start the next cycle.

Devres now requires T: 'static, which conflicts with shmem::Object using
Devres<SGTableMap<T, C>> without that bound. Resolve by adding 'static
as a supertrait to DriverObject and DeviceContext, which does not
restrict any current use cases since DriverObject is always implemented
on owned, refcounted types and DeviceContext is a sealed marker trait
with only unit-type implementors.

If DriverObject (or DeviceContext) ever becomes lifetime-parameterized
(e.g. via a GAT for TTM backed objects), the 'static supertrait can be
relaxed at that point.

Merge tag 'timers-v7.3-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/daniel.lezcano/linux into timers/clocksource

- Use designated initializers for sh_mtu2, sh_cmt, and sh_tmu, and
drop the unused initializer in the platform_device_id table for
sh_mtu2 (Uwe Kleine-König)

- Remove redundant dev_err()/dev_err_probe() messages when
devm_request_*_irq() fails, as the helper already logs an error
message (Pan Chuang)

- Fix a boot hang on Allwinner D1 when a forced minimum delta is used
with the sun4i timer (Felix Yan)

- Fix an IRQ leak in the cpuhp_setup_state() error path by freeing the
IRQ on failure in the NXP PIT driver (WenTao Liang)

- Fix incorrect unmapping of shared MMIO between the clocksource and
clockevent drivers. If one of them fails to initialize, the error
path unmaps the shared MMIO region, leaving the other driver with an
invalid mapping on clps711x (Guangshuo Li)

- Make the samsung_pwm driver compatible with PREEMPT_RT by replacing
regular spinlocks with raw_spinlock_t in atomic contexts (Marek
Szyprowski)

- Use __raw_readl() and __raw_writel() instead of ioread32() and
iowrite32() to support SWAP_IO_SPACE in the rtl-otto driver (Rustam

- Fix a missing clk_disable_unprepare() call in the timer

Merge tag 'net-next-7.2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/netdev/net-next

Merge tag 'net-next-7.2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/netdev/net-next

Pull networking updates from Jakub Kicinski:
"Core & protocols:

- Work on removing rtnl_lock protection throughout the stack
continues. In this chapter:
- don't use rtnl_lock for IPv6 multicast routing configuration
- don't take rtnl_lock in ethtool for modern drivers
- prepare Qdisc dump callbacks for rtnl_lock removal

- Support dumping just ifindex + name of all interfaces, under RCU.
It's a common operation for Netlink CLI tools (when translating
names to ifindexes) and previously required full rtnl_lock.

- Support dumping qdiscs and page pools for a specific netdev. Even
tho user space wants a dump of all netdevs, most of the time, the
OOO programming model results in repeating the dump for each
netdev. Which, in absence of a cache, leads to a O(n^2) behavior.

- Flush nexthops once on multi-nexthop removal (e.g. when device goes
down), another O(n^2) -> O(n) improvement.

- Rehash locally generated traffic to a different nexthop on
retransmit timeout.

- Honor oif when choosing nexthop for locally generated IPv6 traffic.

- Convert TCP Auth Option to crypto library, and drop non-RFC algos.

- Increase subflow limits in MPTCP to 64 and endpoint limit to 256.

- Support MPTCP signaling of IPv6 address + port (ADD_ADDR). We need
to selectively skip reporting of the standard TCP Timestamp option,
because they won't fit into the header space together (12 + 30 >
40).

- Support using bridge neighbor suppression, Duplicate Address
Detection, Gratuitous ARP and unsolicited NA forwarding - in EVPN
deployments, e.g. VXLAN fabrics (IPv4 and IPv6).

- Improve link state reporting for upper netdevs (e.g. macvlan) over
tunnel devices (again, mostly for EVPN deployments).

- Support binding GENEVE tunnels to a local address.

- Speed up UDP tunnel destruction (remove one synchronize_rcu()).

- Support exponential field encoding in multicast (IGMPv3 and MLDv2).

- Support attaching PSP crypto offload to containers (veth, netkit).

- Add a new IPSec Netlink message XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE_STATE that allows
migrating individual IPsec SAs independently of their policies.

The existing XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE is tightly coupled to policy+SA
migration, lacks SPI for unique SA identification, and cannot
express reqid changes or migrate Transport mode selectors.

The new interface identifies the SA via SPI and mark, supports
reqid changes, address family changes, encap removal, and uses an
atomic create+install flow under x->lock to prevent SN/IV reuse
during AEAD SA migration.

- Implement GRO/GSO support for PPPoE.

- Convert sockopt callbacks in a number of protocols to iov_iter.

Cross-tree stuff:

- Remove support for Crypto TFM cloning (unblocked after the TCP Auth
Option rework). This feature regressed performance for all crypto
API users, since it changed crypto transformation objects into
reference-counted objects.

- Add FCrypt-PCBC implementation to rxrpc and remove it from the
global crypto API as obsolete and insecure.

Wireless:

- Major rework of station bandwidth handling, fixing issues with
lower capability than AP.

- Cleanups for EMLSR spec issues (drafts differed).

- More Neighbor Awareness Networking (Wi-Fi Aware) work (multicast,
schedule improvements, multi-station etc.)

- Some Ultra High Reliability (UHR) / IEEE 802.11bn (D1.4) work
(e.g. non-primary channel access, UHR DBE support).

- Fine Timing Measurement ranging (i.e. distance measurement) APIs.

Netfilter:

- Use per-rule hash initval in nf_conncount. This avoids unnecessary
lock contention with short keys (e.g. conntrack zones) in different
namespaces.

- Various safety improvements, both in packet parsing and object
lifetimes. Notably add refcounts to conntrack timeout policy.

Deletions:

- Remove TLS + sockmap integration. TLS wants to pin user pages to
avoid a copy, and sockmap wants to write to the input stream. More
work on this integration is clearly needed, and we can't find any
users (original author admitted that they never deployed it).

- Remove support for TLS offload with TCP Offload Engine (the far
more common opportunistic offload is retained). The locking looks
unfixable (driver sleeps under TCP spin locks) and people from the
vendor that added this are AWOL.

- Remove more ATM code, trying to leave behind only what PPPoATM
needs, AAL5 and br2684 with permanent circuits.

- Remove AppleTalk. Let it join hamradio in our out of tree protocol
graveyard, I mean, repository.

- Disable 32-bit x_tables compatibility (32bit binaries on 64bit
kernel) interface in user namespaces. To be deleted completely,
soon.

- Remove 5/10 MHz support from cfg80211/mac80211.

Drivers:

- Software:
- Support DEVMEM/DMABUF Tx over NETMEM_TX_NO_DMA devices (netkit)
- bonding: add knob to strictly follow 802.3ad for link state

- New drivers:
- Alibaba Elastic Ethernet Adaptor (cloud vNIC).
- NXP NETC switch within i.MX94.

- DPLL:
- Add operational state to pins (implement in zl3073x).
- Add generic DPLL type, for daisy-chaining DPLLs (implement in ice).

- Ethernet high-speed NICs:
- Huawei (hinic3):
- enhance tc flow offload support with queue selection,
tunnels
- nVidia/Mellanox:
- avoid over-copying payload to the skb's linear part (up to
60% win for LRO on slow CPUs like ARM64 V2)
- expose more per-queue stats over the standard API
- support additional, unprivileged PFs in the DPU
configuration
- support Socket Direct (multi-PF) with switchdev offloads
- add a pool / frag allocator for DMA mapped buffers for
control objects, save memory on systems with 64kB page size
- take advantage of the ability to dynamically change RSS
table size, even when table is configured by the user
- increase the max RSS table size for even traffic
distribution

- Ethernet NICs:
- Marvell/Aquantia:
- AQC113 PTP support

Merge branch 'consolidate-fcrypt-and-pcbc-code-into-net-rxrpc'

Eric Biggers says:

====================
Consolidate FCrypt and PCBC code into net/rxrpc/

The FCrypt "block cipher" and the PCBC mode of operation are obsolete
and insecure. Since their only user is net/rxrpc/, they belong there,
not in the crypto API.

Therefore, this series removes these algorithms from the crypto API and
replaces them with local implementations in net/rxrpc/.

The local implementations are simpler too, as they avoid the crypto API
boilerplate.

I don't know how to test all the code in net/rxrpc/, but everything
should still work. I added a KUnit test for the crypto functions.

net/rxrpc: Add local FCrypt-PCBC implementation

Add a local implementation of FCrypt-PCBC encryption and decryption.
This will be used instead of the crypto API one, allowing the crypto API
one to be removed. It will also simplify rxkad.c quite a bit.

A KUnit test is included. The FCrypt-PCBC test vectors are borrowed
from the existing ones in crypto/testmgr.h. Note that this adds the
first KUnit test for net/rxrpc/, which previously had no KUnit tests.

The FCrypt code is based on crypto/fcrypt.c, but I simplified it a bit.
The PCBC part is straightforward and I just wrote it from scratch.

Tested with:

kunit.py run --kunitconfig net/rxrpc/

Merge tag 'net-next-6.16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/netdev/net-next

Pull networking updates from Paolo Abeni:
"Core:

- Implement the Device Memory TCP transmit path, allowing zero-copy
data transmission on top of TCP from e.g. GPU memory to the wire.

- Move all the IPv6 routing tables management outside the RTNL scope,
under its own lock and RCU. The route control path is now 3x times
faster.

- Convert queue related netlink ops to instance lock, reducing again
the scope of the RTNL lock. This improves the control plane
scalability.

- Refactor the software crc32c implementation, removing unneeded
abstraction layers and improving significantly the related
micro-benchmarks.

- Optimize the GRO engine for UDP-tunneled traffic, for a 10%
performance improvement in related stream tests.

- Cover more per-CPU storage with local nested BH locking; this is a
prep work to remove the current per-CPU lock in local_bh_disable()
on PREMPT_RT.

- Introduce and use nlmsg_payload helper, combining buffer bounds
verification with accessing payload carried by netlink messages.

Netfilter:

- Rewrite the procfs conntrack table implementation, improving
considerably the dump performance. A lot of user-space tools still
use this interface.

- Implement support for wildcard netdevice in netdev basechain and
flowtables.

- Integrate conntrack information into nft trace infrastructure.

- Export set count and backend name to userspace, for better
introspection.

BPF:

- BPF qdisc support: BPF-qdisc can be implemented with BPF struct_ops
programs and can be controlled in similar way to traditional qdiscs
using the "tc qdisc" command.

- Refactor the UDP socket iterator, addressing long standing issues
WRT duplicate hits or missed sockets.

Protocols:

- Improve TCP receive buffer auto-tuning and increase the default
upper bound for the receive buffer; overall this improves the
single flow maximum thoughput on 200Gbs link by over 60%.

- Add AFS GSSAPI security class to AF_RXRPC; it provides transport
security for connections to the AFS fileserver and VL server.

- Improve TCP multipath routing, so that the sources address always
matches the nexthop device.

- Introduce SO_PASSRIGHTS for AF_UNIX, to allow disabling SCM_RIGHTS,
and thus preventing DoS caused by passing around problematic FDs.

- Retire DCCP socket. DCCP only receives updates for bugs, and major
distros disable it by default. Its removal allows for better
organisation of TCP fields to reduce the number of cache lines hit
in the fast path.

- Extend TCP drop-reason support to cover PAWS checks.

Driver API:

- Reorganize PTP ioctl flag support to require an explicit opt-in for
the drivers, avoiding the problem of drivers not rejecting new
unsupported flags.

- Converted several device drivers to timestamping APIs.

- Introduce per-PHY ethtool dump helpers, improving the support for
dump operations targeting PHYs.

Tests and tooling:

- Add support for classic netlink in user space C codegen, so that
ynl-c can now read, create and modify links, routes addresses and
qdisc layer configuration.

- Add ynl sub-types for binary attributes, allowing ynl-c to output
known struct instead of raw binary data, clarifying the classic
netlink output.

- Extend MPTCP selftests to improve the code-coverage.

- Add tests for XDP tail adjustment in AF_XDP.

New hardware / drivers:

- OpenVPN virtual driver: offload OpenVPN data channels processing to

David Howells says:

====================
rxrpc, afs: Add AFS GSSAPI security class to AF_RXRPC and kafs

Here's a set of patches to add basic support for the AFS GSSAPI security
class to AF_RXRPC and kafs. It provides transport security for keys that
match the security index 6 (YFS) for connections to the AFS fileserver and
VL server.

Note that security index 4 (OpenAFS) can also be supported using this, but
it needs more work as it's slightly different.

The patches also provide the ability to secure the callback channel -
connections from the fileserver back to the client that are used to pass
file change notifications, amongst other things. When challenged by the
fileserver, kafs will generate a token specific to that server and include
it in the RESPONSE packet as the appdata. The server then extracts this
and uses it to send callback RPC calls back to the client.

It can also be used to provide transport security on the callback channel,
but a further set of patches is required to provide the token and key to
set that up when the client responds to the fileserver's challenge.

This makes use of the previously added crypto-krb5 library that is now
upstream (last commit fc0cf10c04f4).

This series of patches consist of the following parts:

(0) Update kdoc comments to remove some kdoc builder warnings.

(1) Push reponding to CHALLENGE packets over to recvmsg() or the kernel
equivalent so that the application layer can include user-defined
information in the RESPONSE packet. In a follow-up patch set, this
will allow the callback channel to be secured by the AFS filesystem.

(2) Add the AF_RXRPC RxGK security class that uses a key obtained from the
AFS GSS security service to do Kerberos 5-based encryption instead of
pcbc(fcrypt) and pcbc(des).

(3) Add support for callback channel encryption in kafs.

(4) Provide the test rxperf server module with some fixed krb5 keys.

rxrpc: rxgk: Provide infrastructure and key derivation

Provide some infrastructure for implementing the RxGK transport security
class:

(1) A definition of an encoding type, including:

- Relevant crypto-layer names
- Lengths of the crypto keys and checksums involved
- Crypto functions specific to the encoding type
- Crypto scheme used for that type

(2) A definition of a crypto scheme, including:

- Underlying crypto handlers
- The pseudo-random function, PRF, used in base key derivation
- Functions for deriving usage keys Kc, Ke and Ki
- Functions for en/decrypting parts of an sk_buff

(3) A key context, with the usage keys required for a derivative of a
transport key for a specific key number. This includes keys for
securing packets for transmission, extracting received packets and
dealing with response packets.

(3) A function to look up an encoding type by number.

(4) A function to set up a key context and derive the keys.

(5) A function to set up the keys required to extract the ticket obtained
from the GSS negotiation in the server.

(6) Miscellaneous functions for context handling.

The keys and key derivation functions are described in:
