regulator: add support for SGM3804 Dual Output driver
Neil Armstrong <neil.armstrong@linaro.org> says:
Add support for the SG Micro SGM3804 Single Inductor Dual Output Buck/Boost Converter used to power LCD panels a provide positive and negative power rails with configurable voltage and active discharge function for each output.
The SGM3804 is powered by the enable GPIO pins inputs and only supports I2C write messages. In order to add flexibility and simplify the driver, the regmap cache is enabled and populated with default values since we can't write registers when the 2 GPIOs are down.
This regulator is used to provide vsn and vsn power to the Ayaneo Pocket S2 dual-DSI LCD panel.

ASoC: Add support for GPIOs driven amplifiers
Herve Codina <herve.codina@bootlin.com> says:
On some embedded system boards, audio amplifiers are designed using discrete components such as op-amp, several resistors and switches to either adjust the gain (switching resistors) or fully switch the audio signal path (mute and/or bypass features).
Those switches are usually driven by simple GPIOs.
This kind of amplifiers are not handled in ASoC and the fallback is to let the user-space handle those GPIOs out of the ALSA world.
In order to have those kind of amplifiers fully integrated in the audio stack, this series introduces the audio-gpio-amp to handle them.
This new ASoC component allows to have the amplifiers seen as ASoC auxiliarty devices and so it allows to control them through audio mixer controls.
In order to ease the review, I choose to split modifications related to the merge of the gpio-audio-amp part into the simple-amplfier driver in several commits.

spi: switch to managed controller allocation (part 3/3)
Johan Hovold <johan@kernel.org> says:
In preparation for fixing the SPI controller API so that it no longer drops a reference when deregistering (non-managed) controllers (cf. [1]), this series converts drivers using managed registration to also use managed allocation.
Included is also a related cleanup of a lp8841-rtc.
This leaves us with 18 drivers using non-managed allocation, which is few enough to be able to fix the API in tree-wide change.

ASoC: Fixes for v7.1
A bigger batch of fixes than usual due to -next not happeing last week, this is mostly stuff for laptops - a lot of quirks and small fixes, mainly for x86 and SoundWire. Nothing too big or exciting individually, just two week's worth.
