Merge tag 'timers-v7.3-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/daniel.lezcano/linux into timers/clocksource
- Use designated initializers for sh_mtu2, sh_cmt, and sh_tmu, and drop the unused initializer in the platform_device_id table for sh_mtu2 (Uwe Kleine-König)
- Remove redundant dev_err()/dev_err_probe() messages when devm_request_*_irq() fails, as the helper already logs an error message (Pan Chuang)
- Fix a boot hang on Allwinner D1 when a forced minimum delta is used with the sun4i timer (Felix Yan)
- Fix an IRQ leak in the cpuhp_setup_state() error path by freeing the IRQ on failure in the NXP PIT driver (WenTao Liang)
- Fix incorrect unmapping of shared MMIO between the clocksource and clockevent drivers. If one of them fails to initialize, the error path unmaps the shared MMIO region, leaving the other driver with an invalid mapping on clps711x (Guangshuo Li)
- Make the samsung_pwm driver compatible with PREEMPT_RT by replacing regular spinlocks with raw_spinlock_t in atomic contexts (Marek Szyprowski)
- Use __raw_readl() and __raw_writel() instead of ioread32() and iowrite32() to support SWAP_IO_SPACE in the rtl-otto driver (Rustam Adilov)
- Fix a missing clk_disable_unprepare() call in the timer initialization error path of the Armada driver (Yuho Choi)

Merge tag 'liveupdate-v7.2-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/liveupdate/linux
Pull liveupdate updates from Mike Rapoport: "Kexec Handover (KHO):
- make memory preservation compatible with deferred initialization of the memory map
Live Update Orchestrator (LUO):
- add LIVEUPDATE_SESSION_GET_NAME ioctl and parameter verification for LIVEUPDATE_IOCTL_CREATE_SESSION ioctl
- documentation updates for liveupdate=on command line option, systemd support and the current compatibility status
- remove the fixed limits on the number of files that can be preserved within a single session, and the total number of sessions managed by the LUO
Misc fixes:
- reference count incoming File-Lifecycle-Bound (FLB) data so it cannot be freed while a subsystem is still using it
- fixes for a TOCTOU race in luo_session_retrieve(), a use- after-free in the file finish and unpreserve paths, concurrent session mutations during reboot and serialization on preserve_context kexec
- make sure ioctls for incoming LUO sessions are blocked for outgoing sessions and vice versa
- make sure KHO scratch size is always aligned by CMA_MIN_ALIGNMENT_BYTES
- fix memblock tests build issue introduced by KHO changes"

kho: make preserved pages compatible with deferred struct page init
When CONFIG_DEFERRED_STRUCT_PAGE_INIT is enabled, struct page initialization is deferred to parallel kthreads that run later in the boot process.
During KHO restoration, kho_preserved_memory_reserve() writes metadata for each preserved memory region. However, if the struct page has not been initialized, this write targets uninitialized memory, potentially leading to errors like: BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ...
Fix this by introducing kho_get_preserved_page(), which ensures all struct pages in a preserved region are initialized by calling init_deferred_page() which is a no-op when the struct page is already initialized.

liveupdate: separate memfd support into LIVEUPDATE_MEMFD
Decouple memfd preservation support from the core Live Update Orchestrator configuration.
Previously, enabling CONFIG_LIVEUPDATE forced a dependency on CONFIG_SHMEM and unconditionally compiled memfd_luo.o. However, Live Update may be used for purposes that do not require memfd-backed memory preservation.
Introduce CONFIG_LIVEUPDATE_MEMFD to gate memfd_luo.o. This moves the SHMEM and MEMFD_CREATE dependencies to the specific feature that needs them, allowing the base LIVEUPDATE option to be selected independently of shared memory support.
