Merge tag 'char-misc-7.3-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/char-misc

Pull char/misc/IIO/etc driver updates from Greg KH:
"Here is the big set of char, misc, iio, counter, fpga, and other small
driver subsystems for 7.3-rc1.

Overall, due to some driver removals we only added a bit more code
than removed, which was a nice change. Highlights in this merge
request are:

- Loads of IIO driver updates and additions

- binder driver updates (more on that below...)

- Removal of the SGI XP and GRU drivers as they are not used anymore
and turn out to be pretty insecure overall

- Removal of the obsolete ibmasm driver as it's not being used
anymore

- Coresight driver updates and additions

- Mei driver udpates

- Counter driver updates

- FPGA driver updates

- ICC driver updates

- lots and lots of other tiny driver updates to resolve reported
issues

All of these have been in linux-next for a while"

misc: amd-sbi: Add support for SB-TSI over I3C

AMD SB-TSI temperature sensors can be accessed over both
I2C and I3C buses depending on the platform configuration.
Extend the SB-TSI driver to support both I2C and I3C bus interfaces
by selecting the appropriate transport based on the probed bus type.
The driver maintains backward compatibility with existing I2C
deployments while enabling support for systems using the I3C bus.
Register both I2C and I3C drivers using module_i3c_i2c_driver() and
update the Kconfig dependency from I2C to I3C_OR_I2C.

hwmon/misc: amd-sbi: Move core sbtsi support from hwmon to misc

Move SBTSI(Side-Band Temperature Sensor Interface) core functionality out
of the hwmon-only path and into drivers/misc/amd-sbi so it can be reused
by non-hwmon consumers.

I2C probe parsing is moved from drivers/hwmon/sbtsi_temp.c
into drivers/misc/amd-sbi/tsi.c under CONFIG_AMD_SBTSI. The core driver
stores struct sbtsi_data on the bus device and registers an auxiliary
device amd-sbtsi.temp-sensor.<addr> per target.
The current hwmon temp sensor will now require the CONFIG_AMD_SBTSI
configuration as a new dependency.

This split prepares the driver for additional interfaces while keeping
hwmon support in hwmon subsystem on top of common SBTSI core logic.

Add platform dependencies to clarify this driver is intended to run on
the BMC and not on the managed node.

Merge tag 'rust-timekeeping-for-v7.1' of https://github.com/Rust-for-Linux/linux into rust-next

Pull timekeeping updates from Andreas Hindborg:

- Expand the example section in the 'HrTimer' documentation.

- Mark the 'ClockSource' trait as unsafe to ensure valid values for
'ktime_get()'.

- Add 'Delta::from_nanos()'.

This is a back merge since the pull request has a newer base -- we will
avoid that in the future.

And, given it is a back merge, it happens to resolve the "subtle" conflict
around '--remap-path-{prefix,scope}' that I discussed in linux-next [1],
plus a few other common conflicts. The result matches what we did for
next-20260407.

The actual diffstat (i.e. using a temporary merge of upstream first) is:

Merge commit 'f35dbac6942171dc4ce9398d1d216a59224590a9' into trace/ring-buffer/core

The commit f35dbac69421 ("ring-buffer: Fix to update per-subbuf entries of
persistent ring buffer") was a fix and merged upstream. It is needed for
some other work in the ring buffer. The current branch has the remote
buffer code that is shared with the Arm64 subsystem and can't be rebased.

Merge in the upstream commit to allow continuing of the ring buffer work.
