Nothing major here, just a _ton_ of fixes and cleanups, mostly driven by the new round of OPW applicants, but also there are lots of other people doing staging tree cleanups these days in order to help get the drivers into mergable shape.
We also merge, and then revert, the ktap code, as Ingo and the other perf/ftrace developers feel it should go into the "real" part of the kernel with only a bit more work, so no need to put it in staging for now.
All of this has been in linux-next for a while with no reported issues"

Jonathan writes:
First round of new drivers, functionality and cleanups for IIO in the 3.13 cycle
A number of new drivers and some new functionality + a lot of cleanups all over IIO.
New Core Elements
1) New INT_TIME info_mask element for integration time, which may have different effects on measurement noise and similar, than an amplifier and hence is different from existing SCALE. Already existed in some drivers as a custom attribute.
2) Introduce a iio_push_buffers_with_timestamp helper to cover the common case of filling the last 64 bits of data to be passed to the buffer with a timestamp. Applied to lots of drivers. Cuts down on repeated code and moves a slightly fiddly bit of logic into a single location.
3) Introduce info_mask_[shared_by_dir/shared_by_all] elements to allow support of elements such as sampling_frequency which is typically shared by all input channels on a device. This reduces code and makes these controls available from in kernel consumers of IIO devices.
New drivers
1) MCP3422/3/4 ADC
2) TSL4531 ambient light sensor
3) TCS3472/5 color light sensor
4) GP2AP020A00F ambient light / proximity sensor
5) LPS001WP support added to ST pressure sensor driver.
New driver functionality
1) ti_am335x_adc Add buffered sampling support. This device has a hardware fifo that is fed directly into an IIO kfifo buffer based on a watershed interrupt. Note this will act as an example of how to handle this increasingly common type of device. The only previous example - sca3000 - take a less than optimal approach which is largely why it is still in staging. A couple of little cleanups for that new functionality followed later.
Core cleanups:
1) MAINTAINERS - Sachin actually brought my email address up to date because I said I'd do it and never got around to it :)
2) Assign buffer list elements as single element lists to simplify the iio_buffer_is_active logic.
3) wake_up_interruptible_poll instead of wake_up_interruptible to only wake up threads waiting for poll notifications.
4) Add O_CLOEXEC flag to anon_inode_get_fd call for IIO event interface.
5) Change iio_push_to_buffers to take a void * pointer so as to avoid some annoying and unnecessary type casts.
6) iio_compute_scan_bytes incorrectly took a long rather than unsigned long.
7) Various minor tidy ups.
Driver cleanups (in no particular order)
1) Another set of devm_ allocations patches from Sachin Kamat.
2) tsl2x7x - 0 to NULL cleanup.
3) hmc5843 - fix missing > in MODULE_AUTHOR
4) Set of strict_strto* to kstrto* conversions.
5) mxs-lradc - fix ordering of resource removal to match creation
6) mxs-lradc - add MODULE_ALIAS
7) adc7606 - drop a work pending test duplicated in core functions.
8) hmc5843 - devm_ allocation patch
9) Series of redundant breaks removed.
10) ad2s1200 - pr_err -> dev_err
11) adjd_s311 - use INT_TIME
12) ST sensors - large set of cleanups from Lee Jones and removed restriction to using only triggers provided by the st_sensors themselves from Dennis Ciocca.
13) dummy and tmp006 provide sampling_frequency via info_mask_shared_by_all.
14) tcs3472 - fix incorrect buffer size and wrong device pointer used in suspend / resume functions.
15) max1363 - use defaults for buffer setup ops as provided by the triggered buffer helpers as they are the same as were specified in max1363 driver.
16) Trivial tidy ups in a number of other drivers.

Jonathan writes:
Second round of new drivers, features and cleanups for IIO in the 3.12 cycle.
New driver:
1) tmp006 IR thermopile driver. This is an unusual temperature sensor and was taken in to IIO with the knowledge and agreement of a hwmon maintainer. It measures remote temperature using infrared emissions. I guess taking this may mean we have to fight off submissions of devices much more suited to hwmon but such is life and we end up doing this from time to time already.
2) twl6030 adc driver.
Cleanups:
1) More devm_* cleanups following on from the introduction of devm_iio_device_alloc. Mostly an heroic effort from Sachin Kamat!
2) Introduce devm_iio_trigger_alloc etc to handle trigger allocation and deallocation in a managed fashion. There aren't as many instances of triggers as devices, but this will allow futher reduction in error patch complexity in some of our most complex drivers making it a very good thing. 3) Trivial removal of unused defines in adjd_s311
4) Drop some write_raw_get_fmt callbacks where they were only returning the default value.
5) Change mxs-lradc realbits to 12. Whilst an 18bit register is used on the device, in its current mode only 12 bits of useful data are returned. For now the packing is unchanged in the buffer and this change mainly effects the input support in the driver.

iio: twl6030-gpadc: TWL6030, TWL6032 GPADC driver
The GPADC is general purpose ADC found on TWL6030, and TWL6032 PMIC, known also as Phoenix and PhoenixLite.
The TWL6030 and TWL6032 have GPADC with 17 and 19 channels respectively. Some channels have current source and are used for measuring voltage drop on resistive load for detecting battery ID resistance, or measuring voltage drop on NTC resistors for external temperature measurements. Some channels measure voltage, (i.e. battery voltage), and have voltage dividers, thus, capable to scale voltage. Some channels are dedicated for measuring die temperature.
Some channels are calibrated in 2 points, having offsets from ideal values kept in trim registers. This is used to correct measurements.
The differences between GPADC in TWL6030 and TWL6032: - 10 bit vs 12 bit ADC; - 17 vs 19 channels; - channels have different purpose(i.e. battery voltage channel 8 vs channel 18); - trim values are interpreted differently.
Based on the driver patched from Balaji TK, Graeme Gregory, Ambresh K, Girish S Ghongdemath.

First round of new IIO drivers, features and cleanups for the 3.12 cycle.
There has been a lot of good work going into IIO recently, some of which missed this pull request purely because I haven't caught up with all my emails.
Core changes
1) Introduction of devm_iio_device_alloc/free and conversions of lots of drivers (37 + patches so far mostly from Sachin) 2) A Kconfig option to enabled some debug logging subsystem wide.
New drivers
1) Nuvoton NAU7802 adc driver 2) Avago APDS9300 ambient light sensor driver.
Staging graduations 1) ADIS16260 gyroscope (after a lot fo cleaning up from Lars-Peter)
New driver features
1) ST-sensors gain control of which pin is used for dataready. 2) mcp4725 gains eeprom saving (a later fix deals with a wrong return type bug in that patch) 3) A number of drivers have gained module alias' to aid autoloading.
Cleanups and minor bug fixes.
1) A number of typos in Kconfig comments 2) Drop remaining mentions of ring buffers (now just buffers) 3) Overrestrictive i2c function checking in the invensense mpu6050 driver 4) Some help text clarifications. 5) store_eeprom is now used in several drivers so move to generic abi docs. 6) Update dac power down options. 7) Add some error handlign to mxs-lradc on stmp_reset_block call. 8) Lars fixed the alphabetical order in various files and added comments to try and prevent them getting messed up again. 9) Dropped some remaining 'reset' attributes for drivers. We have never seen a reason why these should be available. Finally the macro used to define many of these has gone. 10) lps331ap gets an easier to check temperature scale implementation. 11) Various cleanups for the hmc5843 from Peter with a view to getting it ready for a staging graduation.
Quite a few other little typo fixes etc.

iio: Add a comment to about alphabetical order to Kconfigs and Makefiles
Keeping Makefile and Kconfig entries in alphabetical order usually works better than just appending new entries at the end, since it reduces the amount of conflicts. This patch adds a comment to the IIO Kconfig and Makefile files to document that the entries should be kept in alphabetical order.
Also reorder those entries which weren't in alphabetical order yet.
