Pull MM updates from Andrew Morton: "Most of the MM queue. A few things are still pending.
Liam's maple tree rework didn't make it. This has resulted in a few other minor patch series being held over for next time.
Multi-gen LRU still isn't merged as we were waiting for mapletree to stabilize. The current plan is to merge MGLRU into -mm soon and to later reintroduce mapletree, with a view to hopefully getting both into 6.1-rc1.
Summary:

Merge tag 'rcu.2022.07.26a' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/paulmck/linux-rcu
Pull RCU updates from Paul McKenney:
- Documentation updates
- Miscellaneous fixes
- Callback-offload updates, perhaps most notably a new RCU_NOCB_CPU_DEFAULT_ALL Kconfig option that causes all CPUs to be offloaded at boot time, regardless of kernel boot parameters.
This is useful to battery-powered systems such as ChromeOS and Android. In addition, a new RCU_NOCB_CPU_CB_BOOST kernel boot parameter prevents offloaded callbacks from interfering with real-time workloads and with energy-efficiency mechanisms
- Polled grace-period updates, perhaps most notably making these APIs account for both normal and expedited grace periods
- Tasks RCU updates, perhaps most notably reducing the CPU overhead of RCU tasks trace grace periods by more than a factor of two on a system with 15,000 tasks.
The reduction is expected to increase with the number of tasks, so it seems reasonable to hypothesize that a system with 150,000 tasks might see a 20-fold reduction in CPU overhead
- Torture-test updates
- Updates that merge RCU's dyntick-idle tracking into context tracking, thus reducing the overhead of transitioning to kernel mode from either idle or nohz_full userspace execution for kernels that track context independently of RCU.
This is expected to be helpful primarily for kernels built with CONFIG_NO_HZ_FULL=y

mmu_gather: Remove per arch tlb_{start,end}_vma()
Scattered across the archs are 3 basic forms of tlb_{start,end}_vma(). Provide two new MMU_GATHER_knobs to enumerate them and remove the per arch tlb_{start,end}_vma() implementations.
- MMU_GATHER_NO_FLUSH_CACHE indicates the arch has flush_cache_range() but does *NOT* want to call it for each VMA.
- MMU_GATHER_MERGE_VMAS indicates the arch wants to merge the invalidate across multiple VMAs if possible.
With these it is possible to capture the three forms:
1) empty stubs; select MMU_GATHER_NO_FLUSH_CACHE and MMU_GATHER_MERGE_VMAS
2) start: flush_cache_range(), end: empty; select MMU_GATHER_MERGE_VMAS
3) start: flush_cache_range(), end: flush_tlb_range(); default
Obviously, if the architecture does not have flush_cache_range() then it also doesn't need to select MMU_GATHER_NO_FLUSH_CACHE.

mm/mmap: drop ARCH_HAS_VM_GET_PAGE_PROT
Now all the platforms enable ARCH_HAS_GET_PAGE_PROT. They define and export own vm_get_page_prot() whether custom or standard DECLARE_VM_GET_PAGE_PROT. Hence there is no need for default generic fallback for vm_get_page_prot(). Just drop this fallback and also ARCH_HAS_GET_PAGE_PROT mechanism.
