Merge branch 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block

Pull block bits from Jens Axboe:
"As vacation is coming up, thought I'd better get rid of my pending
changes in my for-linus branch for this iteration. It contains:

- Two patches for mtip32xx. Killing a non-compliant sysfs interface
and moving it to debugfs, where it belongs.

- A few patches from Asias. Two legit bug fixes, and one killing an
interface that is no longer in use.

- A patch from Jan, making the annoying partition ioctl warning a bit
less annoying, by restricting it to !CAP_SYS_RAWIO only.

- Three bug fixes for drbd from Lars Ellenberg.

- A fix for an old regression for umem, it hasn't really worked since
the plugging scheme was changed in 3.0.

- A few fixes from Tejun.

- A splice fix from Eric Dumazet, fixing an issue with pipe
resizing."

* 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block:
scsi: Silence unnecessary warnings about ioctl to partition
block: Drop dead function blk_abort_queue()
block: Mitigate lock unbalance caused by lock switching
block: Avoid missed wakeup in request waitqueue
umem: fix up unplugging
splice: fix racy pipe->buffers uses
drbd: fix null pointer dereference with on-congestion policy when diskless
drbd: fix list corruption by failing but already aborted reads
drbd: fix access of unallocated pages and kernel panic
xen/blkfront: Add WARN to deal with misbehaving backends.
blkcg: drop local variable @q from blkg_destroy()
mtip32xx: Create debugfs entries for troubleshooting
mtip32xx: Remove 'registers' and 'flags' from sysfs
blkcg: fix blkg_alloc() failure path
block: blkcg_policy_cfq shouldn't be used if !CONFIG_CFQ_GROUP_IOSCHED
block: fix return value on cfq_init() failure
mtip32xx: Remove version.h header file inclusion
xen/blkback: Copy id field when doing BLKIF_DISCARD.

Merge branch 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block

Pull follow-up block updates from Jens Axboe:
"Includes the fix from Eric to resolve the infinite loop in looking up
or creating an IO context for an exiting task.

Also a bunch of mtip32xx patches. Fairly trivial stuff. It's fairly
new though, but no point in keeping it out of the tree until 3.6 imho.
I've thrown it through basic testing locally as well, works fine. The
one contentious part is the patch that Greg complained about (sysfs
file with multiple values, should be a debugfs file), which is
perfectly valid, but not a regression from what the file contains now.
That will be fixed up separately."

* 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block:
block: avoid infinite loop in get_task_io_context()
mtip32xx: Changes to sysfs entries
mtip32xx: Convert macro definitions for flag bits to enum
mtip32xx: minor performance tweak
mtip32xx: Fix to support more than one sector in exec_drive_command()
mtip32xx: Use plain spinlock for 'cmd_issue_lock'
mtip32xx: Set block queue boundary variables
mtip32xx: Fix to handle TFE for PIO(IOCTL/internal) commands
mtip32xx: Change HDIO_GET_IDENTITY to return stored data
mtip32xx: Set custom timeouts for PIO commands
mtip32xx: fix clearing an incorrect register in mtip_init_port

Merge tag 'omapdss-for-3.5' of git://github.com/tomba/linux into fbdev-next

Omapdss driver changes for 3.5 merge window.

Lots of normal development commits, but perhaps most notable changes are:

* HDMI rework to properly decouple the HDMI audio part from the HDMI video part.
* Restructure omapdss core driver so that it's possible to implement device
tree support. This included changing how platform data is passed to the
drivers, changing display device registration and improving the panel driver's
ability to configure the underlying video output interface.
* Basic support for DSI packet interleaving

Merge branch 'spear/dt' into next/dt

This is a rebased version of parts of
git://git.stlinux.com/spear/linux-2.6.git spear-v3.5

which was accidentally based on the linux-next tree and mixed too
many different things. The pinctrl related changes from the same
branch are now in the spear/pinctrl branch of arm-soc.

There are a few non-DT cleanups mixed in here, but fundamentally
it's all related to the DT conversion.

* spear/dt: (9 commits)
ARM: spear: remove most mach/*.h header contents
SPEAr: Update defconfigs
SPEAr: Add PL080 DMA support for 3xx and 6xx
ARM: SPEAr3xx: Add device-tree support to SPEAr3xx architecture
SPEAr3xx: Replace printk() with pr_*()

Daniel Vetter writes:

A new drm-intel-next pull. Highlights:
- More gmbus patches from Daniel Kurtz, I think gmbus is now ready, all
known issues fixed.
- Fencing cleanup and pipelined fencing removal from Chris.
- rc6 residency interface from Ben, useful for powertop.
- Cleanups and code reorg around the ringbuffer code (Ben&me).
- Use hw semaphores in the pageflip code from Ben.
- More vlv stuff from Jesse, unfortunately his vlv cpu is doa, so less
merged than I've hoped for - we still have the unused function warning :(
- More hsw patches from Eugeni, again, not yet enabled fully.
- intel_pm.c refactoring from Eugeni.
- Ironlake sprite support from Chris.
- And various smaller improvements/fixes all over the place.

Note that this pull request also contains a backmerge of -rc3 to sort out
a few things in -next. I've also had to frob the shortlog a bit to exclude
anything that -rc3 brings in with this pull.

Regression wise we have a few strange bugs going on, but for all of them
closer inspection revealed that they've been pre-existing, just now
slightly more likely to be hit. And for most of them we have a patch
already. Otherwise QA has not reported any regressions, and I'm also not
aware of anything bad happening in 3.4.
