The Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) group provides a specification
to make it easier for automated tools to detect and summarize well known
opensource licenses. We are gradually adopting the specification, noting
that the tags are considered only advisory and do not, in any way,
superceed or replace the license texts.

No functional change intended.

standard. They will eventually be replaced when a real standard

Fix int vs time_t, convert int to time_t

Include missing header files which define functions for which gcc has
builtints (e.g., exit, strcmp).

Two getopts related nits:
o getopt returns -1 rather than EOF on errors
o getopt returns '?' for characters it doesn't know about, so
don't include them in the getopt options string.

Use err(3).

Remove trailing whitespace.
