The Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) group provides a specification
to make it easier for automated tools to detect and summarize well known
opensource licenses. We are gradually adopting the specification, noting

Merge ^/head r305687 through r305890.

Remove 'cpu' and 'cpu_class' on amd64.

The 'cpu' and 'cpu_class' variables were always set to the same value
on amd64 and are legacy holdovers from i386. Remove them entirely on
amd64.

Fix a bunch of spelling errors in the comment fields of
a bunch of system include files.

Add Pentium Pro CPU detection and special handling. For now, all the
optimizations we have for 586s also apply to 686s...this will be fine-
tuned in the future as appropriate.
