opensource licenses. We are gradually adopting the specification, noting
that the tags are considered only advisory and do not, in any way,
superceed or replace the license texts.

Special thanks to Wind River for providing access to "The Duke of
Highlander" tool: an older (2014) run over FreeBSD tree was useful as a

Replace Sun RPC license in TI-RPC library with a 3-clause BSD license,
with the explicit permission of Sun Microsystems in 2009.

Use intermediate pointers to avoid strict alias type check failures
using gcc 4.2. This is required for tinderbox which doesn't have
-fno-strict-aliasing in it's custom CFLAGS.

Sync with NetBSD rev. 1.6 + 1.7
