NAME
krb5-config - link against the installed Kerberos libraries
SYNOPSIS

krb5-config 
 [--all | --cflags | --exec-prefix | --help | --libs library | 
 --prefix | --vendor | --version]
DESCRIPTION

krb5-config identifies and displays the special flags that are needed to compile and link programs against the installed Kerberos libraries.

OPTIONS

The following options are supported:

--all

Displays the version, vendor, prefix and exec-prefix.

--cflags

Displays the compiler flags with which Kerberos was built.

--exec-prefix

Displays the exec-prefix with which Kerberos was built.

--help

Displays the usage message. This is the default.

--libs library

Displays compiler options required to link with library. The following library values are supported:

krb5

Kerberos 5 application

--prefix

Displays the prefix with which Kerberos was built.

--vendor

Displays the vendor of the installed Kerberos implementation.

--version

Displays the version of the installed Kerberos implementation.

EXAMPLES

Example 1 Using the --cflags Option

The following example displays the C compiler flags needed to use libkrb5(3LIB):

% krb5-config --cflags
-I/usr/include/kerberosv5

Example 2 Using the--libs Option

The following example shows the C compiler options needed to link against libkrb5(3LIB):

% krb5-config --libs
-L/usr/lib -R/usr/lib -lkrb5
EXIT STATUS

The following exit values are returned:

0

Successful completion.

>0

An error occurred.
