If it is updated for any reason, a new 29release should be pushed to CPAN. 30 31The version number of this module is derived from the $VERSION variable in 32Lgrp.pm. If anything under this directory is modified, $VERSION should be 33changed in Lgrp.pm to update the module version number correctly. If this 34is not done, it will not be possible to upload the generated archive to CPAN, 35as CPAN requires that uploaded archives have unique names. 36 37To prepare the contents of the directory for release, they should be packaged 38up as a .tar.gz archive. The procedure for this is: 39 40$ /usr/perl5/bin/perl Makefile.PL 41$ make tardist 42 43This will produce the file for upload to CPAN. Contact cpan-support@sun.com 44for details of how to do this. 45
