28.Nd Intel PRO/100 Fast Ethernet device driver
29.Sh SYNOPSIS
30.Pa /dev/iprb
31.Sh DESCRIPTION
32The
33.Nm
34driver provides support for the Intel PRO/100 family of Fast Ethernet
35PCI controllers.
36This includes support for Intel 82558, 82559, 82550, and 82551 parts, as well as
37certain controllers found on certain Intel southbridge controllers (ICH2 and
38ICH3).
39.Lp
40These devices generally support the standard Fast Ethernet features, including
4110BASE-T and 100BASE-TX, both full and half duplex operation, IEEE 802.3
42autonegotiation, etc.
43They also support full size MTUs (1500 bytes), even when used with VLANs.
44Some of them also support flow control.
45.
46.Lp
47The device driver supports the
48.Xr ieee802.3 7
49properties, which can be configured with
50.Xr dladm 8 .
