63It is passed raw IP packets as they travel into and out of the machine, 64and will possibly change these before re-injecting them back into the 65IP packet stream. 66.Pp 67It changes all packets destined for another host so that their source 68IP address is that of the current machine. 69For each packet changed in this manner, an internal table entry is 70created to record this fact. 71The
