af61da281f52aba0c5b090bafb3a31c5739850ff - kbuild: Use objtree for module signing key path

kbuild: Use objtree for module signing key pathWhen building out-of-tree modules with CONFIG_MODULE_SIG_FORCE=y,module signing fails because the private key path uses $(srctree)while the public key path uses $(objtree). Since signing keys aregenerated in the build directory during kernel compilation, bothpaths should use $(objtree) for consistency. This causes SSL errors like: SSL error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory sign-file: /kernel-src/certs/signing_key.pemThe issue occurs because:- sig-key uses: $(srctree)/certs/signing_key.pem (source tree)- cmd_sign uses: $(objtree)/certs/signing_key.x509 (build tree)But both keys are generated in $(objtree) during the build. This complements commit 25ff08aa43e37 ("kbuild: Fix signing issue forexternal modules") which fixed the scripts path and public key path, but missed the private key path inconsistency.Fixes out-of-tree module signing for configurations with separatesource and build directories (e.g., O=/kernel-out).Signed-off-by: Mikhail Malyshev <mike.malyshev@gmail.com>Reviewed-by: Nathan Chancellor <nathan@kernel.org>Tested-by: Nicolas Schier <nsc@kernel.org>Link: https://patch.msgid.link/20251015163452.3754286-1-mike.malyshev@gmail.comSigned-off-by: Nicolas Schier <nsc@kernel.org>

Merge branch 'for-6.15/amd_sfh' into for-linusFrom: Mario Limonciello <mario.limonciello@amd.com>Some platforms include a human presence detection (HPD) sensor. Whenenabled and a user is detected a wake event will be emitted from thesensor fusion hub that software can react to.Example use cases are "wake from suspend on approach" or to "lockwhen leaving".This is currently enabled by default on supported systems, but userscan't control it. This essentially means that wake on approach isenabled which is a really surprising behavior to users that don'texpect it.Instead of defaulting to enabled add a sysfs knob that users canuse to enable the feature if desirable and set it to disabled bydefault.

kbuild: Fix signing issue for external modulesWhen running the sign script the kernel is within the source directoryof external modules. This caused issues when the kernel uses relativepaths, like:make[5]: Entering directory '/build/client/devel/kernel/work/linux-2.6'make[6]: Entering directory '/build/client/devel/addmodules/vtx/work/vtx' INSTALL /build/client/devel/addmodules/vtx/_/lib/modules/6.13.0-devel+/extra/vtx.ko SIGN /build/client/devel/addmodules/vtx/_/lib/modules/6.13.0-devel+/extra/vtx.ko/bin/sh: 1: scripts/sign-file: not found DEPMOD /build/client/devel/addmodules/vtx/_/lib/modules/6.13.0-devel+Working around it by using absolute pathes here.Fixes: 13b25489b6f8 ("kbuild: change working directory to external module directory with M=")Signed-off-by: Torsten Hilbrich <torsten.hilbrich@secunet.com>Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>
