Merge tag 'soc-drivers-7.3' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/socPull SoC driver updates from Arnd Bergmann: "The SoC driver changes once more consist of many small fixes and cleanups, that are to a large part the result of automated testing. On platform specific drivers, this includes SoC specific code for xilinx, freescale/nxp, qualcomm, TI, aspeed, omap, tegra, samsung, rockchip, renesas, ixp4xx. In firmware drivers, we see a similar picture for SCMI and qcomtee. Aside from these, we see actual new hardware support in a few areas: - The Apple platform gets a new driver for low power states - Updates to Qualcomm platform drivers add several new hardware specific features and additional SoCs. - Amlogic SoC support for A1 and T7 is added - The Mediatek MMSYS driver is refactored as a cleanup"* tag 'soc-drivers-7.3' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc: (157 commits) soc: qcom: make QCOM_PDR_MSG selectable soc: qcom: ubwc: Fix missing include soc: qcom: ubwc: Fix link error when QCOM_SMEM=n media: iris: Guard the QCOM_UBWC_CONFIG select with QCOM_SMEM drm/msm: Guard the QCOM_UBWC_CONFIG select with QCOM_SMEM dt-bindings: arm: qcom, ids: Add SoC ID for Snapdragon SDM 850 firmware: xilinx: Clear firmware notifiers across kexec transitions firmware: xilinx: Release all peripheral devices from firmware firmware: xilinx: Add support to clear EL3 PM state firmware: xilinx: Propagate actual error from feature check firmware: xilinx: Use TF-A feature check for TF-A-specific APIs bus: fsl-mc: drop unused assignment of acpi_device_id::driver_data soc: fsl: qe: check platform_driver_register() in qe_ic_of_init() phy: lynx-10g: use RCW override procedure for dynamic protocol change soc: fsl: guts: implement the RCW override procedure dt-bindings: fsl: layerscape-dcfg: define DCFG_DCSR region soc: fsl: guts: make fsl_soc_data available after fsl_guts_init() soc: fsl: guts: make it easier to determine on which SoC we are running soc: fsl: guts: add a central fsl_guts_read() function soc: fsl: guts: add a global structure to hold state ...

soc: qcom: Make important drivers defaultThe drivers for Qualcomm SoC components are covering a basic orfundamental SoC blocks. Usually they are required for booting or toachieve basic expected functionality when running Linux. These driversdo not represent any sort of buses visible to the boarddesigners/configurators, thus they should be always enabled, regardlesshow SoC is used in the final board.Kernel configuration should not ask users choice of drivers when thatchoice is obvious and known to the developers that answer should be'yes' or 'module'.Switch most of the Qualcomm SoC drivers to a default 'yes' or'module' for ARCH_QCOM, to match existing defconfig usage. This has no impact on arm64 defconfig, arm qcom_defconfig and armmulti_v7_defconfig.multi:+#define CONFIG_QCOM_PDR_HELPERS_MODULE 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_PBS_MODULE 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_AOSS_QMP 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_APR_MODULE 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_LLCC_MODULE 1qcom:+#define CONFIG_QCOM_PDR_HELPERS_MODULE 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_PBS_MODULE 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_AOSS_QMP 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_APR_MODULE 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_SPM 1+#define CONFIG_QCOM_LLCC_MODULE 1The change will however enable by default all drivers for arm or arm64COMPILE_TEST builds, whenever ARCH_QCOM is selected, which feelslogical: if one selects ARCH_QCOM then probably by default wants tobuild test it entirely. Kernels with COMPILE_TEST are not supposed tobe used for booting.Reviewed-by: Konrad Dybcio <konrad.dybcio@oss.qualcomm.com>Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@oss.qualcomm.com>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20260711-qcom-soc-kconfig-v2-3-4a907e064281@oss.qualcomm.comSigned-off-by: Bjorn Andersson <andersson@kernel.org>

soc: qcom: Restrict drivers per ARM/ARM64There is no point to allow selecting core SoC drivers for Qualcomm ARMv7SoCs when building ARM64 kernel, and vice versa. This makes kernel configuration more difficult as many do not rememberthe Qualcomm SoCs model names/numbers and their properties likearchitecture. No features should be lost because:1. There won't be a single image for ARMv7 and ARMv8/9 SoCs.2. Newer ARMv8/9 SoCs won't be running in arm32 emulation mode.Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@oss.qualcomm.com>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20260711-qcom-soc-kconfig-v2-2-4a907e064281@oss.qualcomm.comSigned-off-by: Bjorn Andersson <andersson@kernel.org>

soc: qcom: Hide all drivers behind selectable menuSwitch from a simple menu to menuconfig, so all Qualcomm SoC driverswill be under one selectable option, allowing to disable them all whichshould make kernel configuration easier when preparing a non-Qualcommkernel.This has few benefits (functional impact of this commit):1. Allow compile testing of QCOM_OCMEM, which previously required ARCH_QCOM.2. Hide behind ARCH_QCOM or COMPILE_TEST drivers specific to Qualcomm which should not be available to other kernel builds: QCOM_PMIC_PDCHARGER_ULOG, QCOM_PMIC_GLINK, QCOM_SPM and QCOM_PBS.Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@oss.qualcomm.com>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20260711-qcom-soc-kconfig-v2-1-4a907e064281@oss.qualcomm.comSigned-off-by: Bjorn Andersson <andersson@kernel.org>

Merge tag 'drm-msm-next-2025-07-05' of https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/msm into drm-nextUpdates for v6.17CI:- uprev mesa and ci-templates- use shallow clone to speed up build jobs- remove sdm845/cheza jobs. These runners are no more (RIP dear chezas)- fix runner tag for i915 cml runners- uprev igt to pull in msm test fixesCore:- VM_BIND support!- single source of truth for UBWC configuration. Adds a global soc driver for UBWC config which is used from display and GPU. (And later vidc/camera/etc)- Decouple ties between GPU and KMS, adding a `separate_gpu_kms` modparam to allow the GPU and KMS to bind to separate DRM devices. This should better deal with more exotic SoC configurations where the number of GPUs is different from number of DPUs. The default behavior is to still come up as a single unified DRM device to avoid surprising userspace.DP:- major rework of the I/O accessorsDPU:- use version checks instead of feature bits- SM8750 support- set min_prefill_lines for SC8180XDSI:- SM8750 supportGPU:- speedbin support for X1-85- X1-45 supportMDSS:- SM8750 supportSigned-off-by: Simona Vetter <simona.vetter@ffwll.ch>From: Robin Clark <robin.clark@oss.qualcomm.com>Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/CACSVV0217R+kpoWQJeuYGHf6q_4aFyEJuKa=dZZKOnLQzFwppg@mail.gmail.com
