Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argumentThis was done entirely with mindless brute force, using git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' | xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNELargument to just drop that argument.Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightlymore complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, andthe resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically. For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separateconversion.Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

Merge tag 'kmalloc_obj-treewide-v7.0-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/kees/linuxPull kmalloc_obj conversion from Kees Cook: "This does the tree-wide conversion to kmalloc_obj() and friends using coccinelle, with a subsequent small manual cleanup of whitespace alignment that coccinelle does not handle. This uncovered a clang bug in __builtin_counted_by_ref(), so the conversion is preceded by disabling that for current versions of clang. The imminent clang 22.1 release has the fix. I've done allmodconfig build tests for x86_64, arm64, i386, and arm. I did defconfig builds for alpha, m68k, mips, parisc, powerpc, riscv, s390, sparc, sh, arc, csky, xtensa, hexagon, and openrisc"* tag 'kmalloc_obj-treewide-v7.0-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/kees/linux: kmalloc_obj: Clean up after treewide replacements treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types compiler_types: Disable __builtin_counted_by_ref for Clang

treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar typesThis is the result of running the Coccinelle script fromscripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed toavoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), andinstead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or unionobject instances:Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)(where TYPE may also be *VAR)The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning"TYPE *".Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <kees@kernel.org>

media: iris: gen1: Destroy internal buffers after FW releasesAfter the firmware releases internal buffers, the driver was notdestroying them. This left stale allocations that were no longer used, especially across resolution changes where new buffers are allocated perthe updated requirements.
media: iris: Skip resolution set on first IPSCThe resolution property is not supposed to be set during reconfig.Existing iris_drc_pending(inst) check is insufficient, as it doesn'tcover the first port setting change.Extend the conditional check to also skip resolution setting whenthe instance is in IRIS_INST_SUB_FIRST_IPSC.Fixes: caf205548769 ("media: iris: Avoid updating frame size to firmware during reconfig")Reviewed-by: Bryan O'Donoghue <bod@kernel.org>Signed-off-by: Dikshita Agarwal <dikshita.agarwal@oss.qualcomm.com>Reviewed-by: Vikash Garodia <vikash.garodia@oss.qualcomm.com>Cc: stable@vger.kernel.orgSigned-off-by: Bryan O'Donoghue <bod@kernel.org>Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil+cisco@kernel.org>

media: iris: Fix ffmpeg corrupted frame errorWhen the ffmpeg decoder is running, the driver receives theV4L2_BUF_FLAG_KEYFRAME flag in the input buffer. The driver then forwardsthis flag information to the firmware. The firmware, in turn, copies theinput buffer flags directly into the output buffer flags. Upon receivingthe output buffer from the firmware, the driver observes that the buffercontains the HFI_BUFFERFLAG_DATACORRUPT flag. The root cause is that bothV4L2_BUF_FLAG_KEYFRAME and HFI_BUFFERFLAG_DATACORRUPT are the same value. As a result, the driver incorrectly interprets the output frame ascorrupted, even though the frame is actually valid. This misinterpretationcauses the driver to report an error and skip good frames, leading tomissing frames in the final video output and triggering ffmpeg's "corruptdecoded frame" error. To resolve this issue, the input buffer flags should not be sent to thefirmware during decoding, since the firmware does not require thisinformation.Fixes: 17f2a485ca67 ("media: iris: implement vb2 ops for buf_queue and firmware response")Cc: stable@vger.kernel.orgSigned-off-by: Vishnu Reddy <quic_bvisredd@quicinc.com>Reviewed-by: Dikshita Agarwal <dikshita.agarwal@oss.qualcomm.com>Reviewed-by: Bryan O'Donoghue <bryan.odonoghue@linaro.org>Reviewed-by: Vikash Garodia <vikash.garodia@oss.qualcomm.com>Signed-off-by: Bryan O'Donoghue <bod@kernel.org>Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil+cisco@kernel.org>
