It is similar to deleting a node in a linked list. The function first finds the media that needs to be deleted using \fBsdp_find_media\fR(3COMMPUTIL). The found media is then passed to \fBsdp_delete_media()\fR to delete it. The function frees the memory allocated to media structure after deleting it. .sp .LP The \fBsdp_delete_attribute()\fR function deletes the specified attribute from the attribute list. It is similar to deleting a node in a linked list. The function first finds the attribute that needs to be deleted using \fBsdp_find_media_rtpmap\fR(3COMMPUTIL) or \fBsdp_find_attribute\fR(3COMMPUTIL). The found attribute is then passed to \fBsdp_delete_attribute()\fR to delete it. The function frees the memory allocated to attribute structure after deleting it. .SH RETURN VALUES .sp .LP Upon successful completion, these functions return 0. Otherwise, the appropriate error value is returned. The value of \fBerrno\fR is not changed by these calls in the event of an error. .SH ERRORS .sp .LP These functions will fail if: .sp .ne 2 .mk .na \fB\fBEINVAL\fR\fR .ad .RS 10n .rt The mandatory input parameters are not provided or are \fINULL\fR. .RE .SH ATTRIBUTES .sp .LP See \fBattributes\fR(5) for descriptions of the following attributes: .sp .sp .TS tab() box; cw(2.75i) |cw(2.75i) lw(2.75i) |lw(2.75i) .
