The

function looks up the entry

in the auxiliary vector of the process handle

and returns its value.

argument should be the entry of the auxiliary vector.

.Sh RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, the
.Fn Pgetauxval
function returns the value of the auxiliary vector entry
.Fa type .
Otherwise,
.Sy -1
is returned to indicate that either the auxiliary vector or the

entry could not be found.
