Instead of allowing the Crypto Extensions algorithms to be selected when
using a toolchain that does not support them, and complain about it at
build time, use the information we have about the compiler to prevent
them from being selected in the first place. Users that are stuck with
a GCC version <4.8 are unlikely to care about these routines anyway, and
it cleans up the Makefile considerably.

While at it, add explicit 'armv8-a' CPU specifiers to the code that uses
the 'crypto-neon-fp-armv8' FPU specifier so we don't regress Clang, which
will complain about this in version 10 and later.

small issues that only affect x86 platforms for various reasons (their
unusual machine enumeration mechanisms mainly, plus a fix for error
handling in topology).

There's some of the driver fixes that look larger than they are, like
the hdmi-codec changes which resulted in an indentation change, and most
of the other large changes are for new drivers like the STM32 changes.

The x86, arm, and arm64 asm implementations of crct10dif are very
difficult to understand partly because many of the comments, labels, and
macros are named incorrectly: the lengths mentioned are usually off by a
factor of two from the actual code. Many other things are unnecessarily
convoluted as well, e.g. there are many more fold constants than
actually needed and some aren't fully reduced.

This series therefore cleans up all these implementations to be much
more maintainable. I also made some small optimizations where I saw
opportunities, resulting in slightly better performance.

This patch cleans up the arm version.

(Also moved the constants to .rodata as suggested by Ard Biesheuvel.)
